JOB DESCRIPTIONClinical Quality Lead  

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Maximising day to day business quality and performance  

OVERALL PURPOSE: Together with the leadership team contribute to the overall development our RTW Plus business offering to achieve quality targets. 

 

Role: 

To provide clinical leadership to achieve first class service delivery, exceptional quality and maximum efficiency in line with the company vision and values. The role is required to essentially support a team of case managers both clinical and vocational and back office support workers in the provision of rehabilitation services. You will be responsible for proactively managing the successful achievement of the contracted service levels, ensuring delivery of key performance indicators to ensure RTW Plus meets its business objectives. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Provide review and input of Rehabilitation Case Managers to meet the core competencies of their role as case manager according to standards from CMSUK, VRA and BABICM as appropriate for the service delivery in each individual case.  
  • Help the preparation of RTW Plus and individual case managers for the future in respect to IRCM Standards of Practice, ISO certification and CQC registration as appropriate. 
  • Ensure that rehabilitation supporting staff, such as Assistant Case Managers and Rehabilitation Coordinator are working in line with established standards of best practice of the organisations as stated above. 
  • Contribute to innovation in products and services for the future such as clinical oversight of RESTORE team as well as future teams that may be developed. 
  • Ensure a cohesive and productive relationship with the team through constructive communication and imparting positive learning techniques. 
  • Quality review of RTW work product and lead on risk assessments and SLA development and adherence. 
  • Develop team resources to ensure industry best practices. 
  • Contribute to the development of metrics in information system to help produce useful management information around goal attainment, demonstrative quality outcomes and cost savings analysis. 
  • Support development of marketing materials that include anonymised examples. 
  • Ensure ongoing compliance for 100% achievement of all policies & procedures including day to day operations and support Operations Manager. 
  • Working closely with the RTW Plus Leadership team to co-ordinate and provide leadership for the management of quality assurance and safety with the aim of ensuring the provision of high-quality rehabilitation. 
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools, audits, service reviews and processes to ensure quality goals are met. 
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of case management, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally. 
  • Lead and mentor other QA team members. 

Work Hours: 

Standard working hours Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.  RTW Plus practice a flexible working policy as much as possible. RTW Plus are committed to flexibility, and in turn we expect flexibility from our team of senior operational managers.  This means that on occasion there may be a requirement to attend events, which could take place in the evenings or at weekends, either regularly or on an ad-hoc basis.    

RTW Plus are flexible in respect to work-from-home with appropriate planning and notification of the Directors. Occasional travel within the UK required. 

Person Specification 

  • Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist / Nurse 
  • Case Management: 5 years+ (Preferred) 
  • Registered HCPC: 7 years+ (Preferred) 
  • Quality assurance experience 
  • People management experience 
  • Process management experience 
  • Be computer proficient, particularly on Microsoft Office 365
